We’ve heard it gets really hot in Arizona so we were not surprised at the fire we received the day Quentin Hiatus hit up our inbox with these 2 scorchers.

Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Quentin has been carving out his own lane of rave infused, euphoric beats on his very own Free Love Digi label but this time he’s served up 2 heady riddims for the Fat.

‘Palo Verde’ lures us in with techno stabs and pitched up vox before Quentin unleashes his frantically energetic, syncopated beats. Raspy bass twists and enveloping pads hypnotise as Quentin switches back and forth with beat patterns, weaving a patchwork of tech soul.

On ‘It’s Time to Shine’ Quentin continues his exploration of rhythm and euphoria with minimal beats and gorgeous soundscapes of pitch up vox, wonky glockenspiel sounds and textured bass licks. Meditative vibes inside!

Quentin’s music is raw, energetic, colourful and an absolute joy for us to release on Goldfat!
